The Kansai region of Japan is a beautiful and culturally rich area of Japan. If you’ve been to Osaka or Kyoto, then you know Kansai! However, along with the food-centric Osaka, and culture hub that is Kyoto, there are a number of other prefectures in the region that are often left out in your travels! What about Hyogo? Wakayama? Tottori? Tokushima? There are so many beautiful areas to visit in the Kansai region, each place having their own unique set of gorgeous sights, delicacies and attractions.
In fact, it is an area with such an abundance of tourism, that direct flights from Australia to Kansai International Airport have even started popping up! In lieu of the new-found connectivity of Australia and the Kansai region, some representatives from the Tourism Bureau and other tourism related factions from the area will be coming right to our doorstep to convey to the people of Melbourne the true wonder of this beautiful area of Japan.
On the day, there will be finger food, sake tasting, fun activities, and most importantly a gold mine of travel information for attendees to help them plan their next Japan trip! You’ll get to speak with the representatives about the region, as for their travel tips and recommendations as well, so this is an event that you can’t miss!
