In the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami, we are calling on our friends in Melbourne to do whatever they can.

Below is a list of charity events in Melbourne. We'll update it regularly, so please check back and lend your support to Japan in her time of need.

Photo and Drawing Exhibition - Thank you from Japan 
(10 and 11 Mar 2020) 

To mark the one year commemoration of the Great East Japan Earthquake, an exhibition of 80 pictures drawn by children from affected areas and photos and images from the disaster and the recovery process will be held by the Consulate-General of Japan in Melbourne.

The exhibition is being held to express Japan’s utmost gratitude to the Australian people for its sincere sympathy and massive support to Japan after the disaster.

The exhibition will be open at Melbourne International Fine Art (MiFA) on the weekend of the 10th and 11th of March.

When: Saturday & Sunday, March 10 & 11 (10:00am - 5:00pm)
Where: MiFA (Melbourne International Fine Art), Level 1, 278 Collins St, Melbourne
Entry: Free

 

 

Looking for a cooperator(donation box)
We are a Japanese Mother's groupd based in Melbourne. We have started charity activities for the Japanese Earthquake and Tsunami Victims. We are currently looking for coorperators who can set up a donation box at their shop or office etc. Our activities are under Japanese Red Cross. Please contact Yuko on
