ebisu design -Christmas give aways!-

Japanese antique shop

ebisu design offers a peaceful Japanese-style space created by Ms. Miho Araki, the calligrapher and the owner of the shop, and Mr. Dean Leitch, the architect. ebisu design is currently giving away antique ceramic sake flasks to 2 people!

In the past sake shops lent sake flasks, tokkuri, when customers purchased sake.
Sake shops followed this tradition and printed their address and contact details number on the flasks.

Even in Japan, it is hard to get an antique sake flask that was originally made to serve sake. Some people use it as a flower vase to give rooms’ an ethnic Japanese feel.
