Face to Face With Fukushima – Melbourne
A delegation from Japan will tour Australia to share firsthand accounts and experiences of the Fukushima nuclear disaster that occurred following the Tsunami that devastated East Japan on March 11, 2020. The tour will commemorate two years since the disaster occurred with public meetings and events around Australia.

Support Fukushima Kids 2013
This is a fund raising event to support the “Fukushima Youth Ambassadors” visit in Australia. There will be performances by Noriko Tadano (shamisen), Fuefukuro (drum and flute ensemble), Yumi Umiumare (butoh) and more.

Children’s Handicraft & Picture Book Display
Children’s picture book author and illustrator, Toshi Handa of Kodomoon Art commemorates the 2-year anniversary of the Mar 11 disaster in Japan through an exhibition of artworks by children from his art workshops.
