In the 67 years since the first nuclear bombs were dropped on Japan, August 6, or Hiroshima Day, has become a date for remembering the devastation of war and contemplating a peaceful world.

Now, as the nuclear menace once again looms large in the wake of last year’s Fukushima disaster, Melbourne’s Japanese for Peace group presents its 8th annual Hiroshima Day Peace Concert.
