“Seikyo Junmai Ginjo Omachi” is Hiroshima style fruity and semi dry sake made from 100% Omachi rice. Omachi rice is the oldest premium sake rice more than 150 years old with very limited annual harvest. This super premium rice is polished up to 55% to make this sake clean, smooth, rich & complex in the flavour. Also Nakao Sake Brewery’s original invented Apple Yeast made from apple skin which gives this sake beautiful Ginjo fragrance reminiscent of apple or pear. This sake is a true man’s sake with its strong body & dry, bitter taste with a little creamy aftertaste. Good in chilled but also great to be warmed up to 45℃. Great matching with fresh oyster in lemon salt when it’s chilled or grilled snapper when it’s warmed.

Seikyo (true mirror), which is getting popular at Dan Murphy's recently, is established at Nakao Brewery in Hiroshima Prefecture in 1871. It is a gem that embedded with the wish to reflect the sincerity of the brewers, which looks like a mirror when poured in a glass.
It has this nostalgic taste to most Japanese people.
The lasting, strong aroma of the koji together with the refreshing dryness, make you feel good by just one sip.
Australians might be a little particular about their choices of wine/ sake/ any alcohol... but I presume most guys would love Seikyo Junmai Ginjo Omachi.
The reason is simple. It is a sake with an unique taste in a good way.
Whether it is big or minute, there must be something peculiar, something unique about a guy to a certain extend. If one does not, ladies would stress-out as everyone seems the same and they do not know who to fall in love with.
"Men are unique and particular in a certain area since they were kids and no matter how hard they try, they will never completely grow up" by Yasunoshin Harada, a member of the Shinsengumi during the Edo period.
Well, let us put aside the trivia.
Established in Hiroshima Prefecture in 1871, "Seikyo" is of such high quality that the brand itself speaks for Nakao Sake Brewery. Omachi rice is one of the oldest sake rice that discovered in the late Edo period. Serve chilled, in room temperature or slightly warm, Seikyo Omachi is sure to be a good sake to enjoy on a summer's evening.
It goes really well with brie cheese and seafood pasta, so please give it a go.
The amino acids in sake bring out the best of the ingredients, reaching the ultimate "UMAMI" in food culture. This is when I want to mumble "sake banzai!".
I was having a drink with a friend the other day. We walked slowly from the completely different, redeveloped Osaka station and after 10 minutes, we reached a retro basement sake cellar, which is very close to Higobashi station.
Seikyo we drank there was so good.
