Ikenobo Ikebana Exhibition “Soul of Ikebana”

Japanese Woodblock Print Workshop

Artist Ema Shin teaches how to carve your own woodblock in designs inspired by patterns and symbols found in Japanese kimono fabric.  Ema will introduce the use of hand-held equipment with water base pigments, soft & easy to cut woods and Japanese papers.  No chemical solvents or presses are used in this clean & natural traditional Japanese technique.
