So please take a rest and leisurely read the following review.

The Funny Food Overseas Series present to you this time Salmon Sushi Flavour!

Product Name: "Salmon Sushi Flavour"
What exactly tastes of salmon sushi? The answer is 'potato chips'.
It is quite hard to notice the potato chips because of the strong impact the sushi picture on the package brings.

The manufacturer's company logo catches your eye along with the sushi picture.

珍珍(means rare). Turning it into its English characters, JACK'n JILL, makes the product seem a bit distant from Japanese. Japanese people may feel a bit embarrassed pronouncing the company name "珍珍", as it would be pronounced as ''Chin Chin'' in Japanese.

The thing is, this packet of potato chips is slightly different from your usual chips.
If you look on the back of the package, there is a writing of the procedure involved in eating these chips.

1. Take out the two separate packets of chips and flavouring powder from the bag.

2. Put the chips back into the bag.

3. Add in the flavouring powder.

4. Lastly, "shake it to the left, and shake it to the right". (Look at the picture below)

The flavouring powder gives off a rather strong taste of wasabi, which means the salmon sushi flavour should lie with the chips themselves. I tried eating the chips on their own before shaking the bag but I could not taste salmon at all. All they gave off was a faint smell of seafood.

Since it is called Salmon Sushi, the taste of salmon and rice grains had to be brought about. However, JACK'n JILL's attempt at this seems to be in vain as the chips were tasteless before adding the wasabi powder.

BUT! As soon as I have shaken the bag, they turned into tasty wasabi potato chips that even Japanese people would admire. I completely forgot about the salmon sushi flavour as soon as I ate the chips. I wonder why they did not name it "Wasabi Flavour" in the first place … ?

Also, there is a cute wasabi character on the package.
"Shake and Roll".
Although it says "shake and roll", when exactly do you 'roll' the chips is still a mystery…

Anything is fine as long as it tastes good!

Definitely have a go at this!
